The Bay at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented individual to fill the role of a full-time waiter. Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant’s concept and food and beverage offerings to aptly convey these details to guests.
2. Ensuring efficient service through consistent completion of mise en place duties between shifts and during service, including cleaning tasks, and maintaining and preparing equipment.
3. Operating the POS (Point of Sale) system proficiently to process food and beverage orders.
4. Providing top-tier service by understanding and fulfilling guest requirements.
5. Ensuring all tasks are completed in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner.
6. Promoting and upselling the restaurant's services and products to guests, enhancing service quality, and increasing revenue.
7. Processing various payment methods, including MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash transactions.
8. Handling billing tasks as per hotel standards and cashiering policies.
9. Ensuring dishes are presented in line with hotel standards and food and beverage specifications.
10. Maintaining the good condition of all outlet equipment and utensils through proper handling and assigned side duties.
11. Assisting in restocking necessary items, including linen, beverages, and dry goods, and arranging them appropriately.
12. Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge.

14. Providing support to other outlets as needed, under direction from the Restaurant/Outlet Manager.
